Job Title: Production Support Engineer  (Risk analysis Expereince )

Location: Chicago,IL (onsite interviews )
Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH
Client Industry: Banking 
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday  

About the Role

We are hiring a  strong  Production Support (Risk analysis Expereince )

Day-to-Day:

• First point of contact for business requests and reported impact

• Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments

• Release implementation and post-release testing

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts

• Troubleshooting of complex systems issues

• Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots

• Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements

Must Haves:

• Production Support Exp for min 4-5 years 
• Python Scripting (for Release & Post-Release Testing) – Automate testing, monitor system changes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Batch Management – Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs in trading applications.
• Sql Query Writing for automation
• Orchestration tool experience: i.e. cutover
• Report Generation & Data Analysis (Tableau & MS Office) – Create reports, dashboards, and analyze system performance trends.
• Linux/Unix Environment Experience

Plusses:

•  Experience with Ansible
• UI Tool experience
• Previous development experience

Compensation 

Hourly Rate: 60$-65$ per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
