Medical Billing Position based in Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Client Services Specialist to support insurance verification, client onboarding, and claims processing within a HIPAA-compliant environment. This role ensures accurate data entry, timely billing, and exceptional customer service while collaborating with clients, referral sources, and payers. 

Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance benefits and explain co-pay responsibilities.
• Collect and process co-pays or credit card payments.
• Enter and validate client information; obtain missing documentation.
• Submit and track claims; correct and resubmit rejected claims.
• Post cash to correct accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Resolve billing issues and document customer inquiries.
• Maintain HIPAA/PHI compliance and report any concerns.

Required Skills:

• 1–2 years medical billing or insurance verification experience
• Strong accuracy, organization, and communication skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA and reimbursement processes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DME or healthcare billing systems
• Customer service background

Pay range:

$20/hr – $25/hr
