Electrical Engineer

Day to Day:
In this role, 70 Hours/week you’ll support the planning, installation, and start-up of electrical systems across active construction projects. Each day, you’ll work closely with field crews, superintendents, and construction managers to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to keep work aligned with design intent. You’ll perform field quality checks to verify installations meet NEC, project, and safety standards, while helping plan work sequences and resolve installation challenges. You’ll coordinate with engineering teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues, confirm materials and equipment, and keep accurate project documentation through daily logs, RFIs, redlines, and as-built updates. You’ll also assist with system testing, commissioning, punch list activities, inspections, and turnover while promoting strong safety practices through audits and pre-task planning.
Pay rate: $45/hr - $50/hr
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent field experience considered
• 4–7 years of experience in electrical construction, field engineering, or commissioning
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, controls, grounding, and lighting
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting single-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings
• Working knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and electrical safety standards (LOTO, arc flash, NFPA 70E)
• Experience with MS Office, Bluebeam, and project management software
