About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced IIS / DataStage Platform Administrator to support and manage enterprise data integration platforms and Linux-based environments. This role is critical in ensuring platform stability, performance, automation, and seamless application onboarding across development, UAT, and production environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in IIS, DataStage, Linux administration, and infrastructure coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure operating system–level and application-related environment files
• Install, configure, and patch IIS, DataStage, and WebSphere tools
• Create and manage DataStage projects, users, groups, privileges, and project-level variables
• Establish and maintain connectivity between IIS and multiple database platforms
• Provide proactive support to application teams, resolving requests and issues within defined SLAs
• Support IIS and Linux environments during server or service outages
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams (System Administrators, DBAs) for maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, and configuration changes
• Migrate IIS and Linux assets across environments (DEV, UAT, PROD) following change management procedures
• Automate IIS and Linux administration tasks using scripting and automation tools to reduce manual effort
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of IIS platforms and servers
• Create and maintain detailed technical and process documentation
• Work with external vendors and support partners to resolve complex issues
• Assist with production support and independently resolve critical incidents
• Mentor and guide team members, defining best practices, usage standards, and platform guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in IIS and DataStage administration
• Strong hands-on expertise with Linux OS environments
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting DataStage and related suite tools
• Solid understanding of database connectivity (DB2 preferred)
• Experience with DataStage suite tools such as BG, FT, MWB, IA, and SDM
• Proven experience with automation tools, including Ansible
• Exposure to Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) is a strong plus
• Understanding of Red Hat OpenShift architecture
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling and support systems
• Ability to resolve issues independently and lead troubleshooting efforts
• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills

Certifications (Preferred): DataStage Certification

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: Hourly Rate: $60 – $65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on market conditions, experience, and qualifications.
