Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Assignment Length: 5+ months
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90038
Work Model: Onsite
Pay Range: $45/hr - $47/hr 

Job Summary 

• Populate monthly financial reporting schedules and provide to Planning
• Analyze actuals vs. forecast (Budget / Estimate) and explain fluctuations
• Analyze fringe balances and prepare quarterly fringe accruals based on the latest estimates
• Prepare annual multi-employer pension project
• Prepare corporate cost allocations
• Prepare invoices for charges 
• Prepare and park monthly and quarterly journal entries and accruals as required
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to overhead
• Clear conversion accounts ensuring they net to zero
• Clear suspense/clearing accounts ensuring they net to zero
• Balancing of financial systems
• Validate Quarterly and Earnings Books
• Prepare Quarterly Balance Sheet File for Planning Team
• Assist with audit requests
• Back-up for Capital Acquisition/Disposal forms initial review
• Back-up Aviation Department
• Produce other ad hoc reporting and manage special projects as assigned

Basic qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience- needs experience in account reconciliation, booked journal entries, understanding what accruals are, reporting, month end close, being used to having deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (could have degree in economics or finance as long as they have experience working in an accounting role with the above listened items.
