Pay Range: $20 to $24 per hour.

Work Type: Hybrid (four times onsite, one time remote)

Contract Duration: 06 months (with potential of extension)

Job Summary:

• This role supports fixed asset accounting activities within a large enterprise environment.
• The position focuses on asset capitalization depreciation tracking and compliance reporting.
• The ideal candidate is detail oriented and eager to grow within a structured finance team.
• This role partners closely with finance and project stakeholders to ensure accurate asset records.
• The position contributes to month end close audit readiness and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording and tracking fixed asset acquisitions transfers and disposals.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities including depreciation and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate asset records within the fixed asset subledger.
• Conduct physical asset verification and tagging across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with project owners and finance teams to ensure timely capitalization.
• Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit requests.
• Participate in system enhancements related to fixed asset accounting.
• Support compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
• Generate reports and analysis for management review.
• Perform manual journal entries accruals and reclassifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• One to two years of accounting or finance experience.
• Basic understanding of GAAP or IFRS.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience working in a structured finance or accounting environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to fixed asset accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems or reporting tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
