Job Title: AI Data Scientist 

Location: Charlotte, NC

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Python, PySpark, and Scala to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in developing advanced technologies such as RAG LLM and AI/ML/GenAI Lifecycle Management.
• This role is not for users of these technologies but for those who have hands-on experience in their development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code solutions, performing unit tests to meet defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business in the design and development of client requirements.
• Engage in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities.
• Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements.
• Participate in estimating the work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

Education Qualification

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience in application development with technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Angular/React Frameworks, and Containerization.
• Experience with AI/ML/GenAI Lifecycle Management and Development, including building frameworks using MLFlow, KubeFlow, Fine-Tuning techniques, and Inference Frameworks.
• Proficiency in building API-based applications leveraging FAST API services, JWT Integration, and API Gateway.
• Experience working in large teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase using IDEs like VS Code, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), and Continuous Testing.
• Hands-on DevOps experience with enterprise development tools such as Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and pytest Unit Testing), Artifact Management (Artifactory), and Deployment (Ansible).

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in developing RAG and MCP modules.
• Proficiency in Spark and Scala is a plus.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $65 - 70 per hour
  This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
