Job Description:

Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer
Duration: 12 Months of Contract
Location: Dallas, TX (ONSITE)
Pay Range: $80/hr - $85/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate customer/platform requirements into client product-level specs
• Build or refine SATCOM subsystem architecture
• Evaluate vendor SATCOM/RF proposals using cost-inclusive trade studies
• Support technical procurement decision boards and down-select reviews
• Deliver decomposition artifacts for internal engineering hand-off
• Pair with and transfer procurement + decomposition knowledge to a junior Systems Engineer
• Operate as solo contributor or in 1-2 person working groups in classified environments

Requirements:

• 15+ years total Systems Engineering experience
• Core SATCOM systems engineering experience
• RF Procurement ownership, including:
• Defining or evaluating SATCOM/RF RFP requirements
• Influencing vendor product down-selection
• Conducting tradeoff analysis that includes cost + performance
• Writing or editing SOW procurement templates
