About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Virtualization Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team.
- The role involves supporting our mission to provide fast and reliable Hosted Virtual Desktop Automation solutions.
- You will be responsible for full stack development, deployment, and operations support of our virtual platform automation infrastructure.
- This position requires coding and workflow development using C#/PowerShell/SQL or similar languages.
- Collaboration with other teams to debug and resolve production issues is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and support production code.
- Implement front-end UI that allows for independent releases and rollbacks.
- Support and deploy pre-production and production environments.
- Develop extensive code/workflows using JavaScript (vRO), C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for documenting architectural and development decisions.
- Consume and create secure RESTful APIs.
- Understand software and application lifecycle processes.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in design, build, deployment, and support of production code.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (vRO), C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to work with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of software and application lifecycle.
Desired Skills
- Experience in an operations role.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VLAN/VXLAN, Virtual switch/NIC configuration.
- Experience with vRealize Network Insight, vRealize Log Insight, vRealize Operations.
- Familiarity with VMware/Virtualization.
- Experience with DevOps deployment tools like Bitbucket.
- Troubleshooting with Splunk.
- Microservice design experience.
- Proficiency in using Postman.
DayToDay Responsbilities:
- Responsible for full stack development, deployment, and operations support of our virtual platform automation infrastructure.
- Coding and workflow development leveraging C#/PowerShell/SQL or similar languages is foundational to the position.
- Support the teams Hosted Virtual Desktop Automation solutions to the enterprise.
- Responsible for full stack development, deployment, and operations support of our virtual platform automation infrastructure.
- Willingness to work with other teams to debug and resolve production issues is integral to the success of our team.

This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
