Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst – SOX Controls

Responsibilities
- Partnered with Business, IT, and Compliance stakeholders to design, document, and implement effective SOX IT and business process controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Drafted and maintained detailed control narratives, process flows, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and testing documentation using established SOX best-practice templates.
- Defined and documented Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements, identifying conflicts and recommending mitigating controls across applications and business processes.
- Leveraged industry-standard SOX frameworks, reusable templates, and proven methodologies to ensure consistency, audit readiness, and efficiency.
- Supported internal and external audits by providing control evidence, responding to audit inquiries, and assisting with issue remediation and control enhancements.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in SOX compliance, internal controls, and IT General Controls (ITGCs) across business and technology processes
- Proven experience drafting control narratives, Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs), process flows, and control testing documentation
- In-depth knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, conflict identification, and mitigation strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Business, IT, Audit, and Compliance teams to design and implement effective controls
- Hands-on experience using standard SOX templates, frameworks, and best-practice methodologies
- Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Experience supporting internal and external audits, including walkthroughs, evidence collection, and remediation tracking
- Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, SAP GRC) is a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:
