Position Title: Refrigeration Shipping Container Technician 

Salary : $50,000 - 54,500 /year 

Location: Onsite, 5 days/week in Seattle M-F 

Type: Full Time Direct hire role

 Responsbilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigerated shipping containers and Gensets.
• Perform necessary repairs on refrigeration units, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of refrigerated containers before shipment.
• Provide maintenance and corrective actions on Gensets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all repair and diagnostic activities.
• Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely and efficient container readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
• Assist with ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure necessary tools and materials are available for repairs.
• Follow up on repair status and communicate with the team to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Must Have:

• Qualifications Proven experience as a Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and Gensets.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues. Experience with pre-trip inspections and troubleshooting techniques for refrigerated units.
• EPA Certification Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain Forklift Certification Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in refrigeration or HVAC systems.
• Previous experience with refrigerated container repair and maintenance. Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
