Position: GenAI Engineer
Industry: Telecommunications
Type: 12 months contract (possible extension)
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Toronto, ON)
Pay rate: $95 - $100 CAD/hour 

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years in data platform or cloud-native architecture, with 5+ years in Telecom domain (preferably network-focused).
• Deep experience designing solutions using VertexAI, WatsonX, or similar enterprise LLM platforms.
• Hands-on delivery of AI solutions in real-time or near-real-time environments, ideally in network operations, NOC/SOC, or customer/device telemetry.
• Strong background in data governance, entitlements, and AI compliance modeling.
• Demonstrated experience engaging directly with enterprise clients as both a solution architect and delivery leader.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and enterprise orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Kubeflow, Airflow).

Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $95 - $100 CAD per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
