An Excellent Opportunity for Business Data Analyst/Treasury Analyst to work with one of the Biggest Global Bank at Charlotte, NC location.
Job Description:
Why / Mission
- Support the Treasury product organization responsible for the 2052A platform/other treasury systems/platforms
- These are critical systems generating regulatory and internal Treasury outputs across loans, deposits, liquidity, and balance sheet reporting
- This role is focused on functional execution, data analysis, reconciliation, and business support for high-visibility Treasury initiatives
- The analyst will help ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory readiness of data feeding liquidity risk, funding, and balance sheet reporting
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis and business analysis across Treasury datasets (loans, deposits, liquidity positions)
- Support the 2052A product by validating data outputs, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying gaps
- Write and execute advanced SQL queries to investigate data issues, breaks, and inconsistencies
- Partner with Product Owners to translate business needs into functional requirements
- Support UAT, validation, and testing for platform enhancements and regulatory changes
- Analyse liquidity metrics, balance sheet impacts, and funding data for accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Balance Sheet, Funding, and Regulatory Reporting teams
- Support large-scale Treasury initiatives and regulatory deliverables
- Act as a functional bridge between business users and technology teams
- Document findings, trends, and issues, communicate clearly to stakeholders
Must-Haves:
- At least 10 years of strong Treasury domain knowledge/experience – liquidity, funding, balance sheet, loans & deposits
- Liquidity Risk experience or exposure strongly preferred
- Advanced SQL skills – some querying, reconciling, gap analysis (not a developer role)
- Functional DA/BA background (data analysis + business analysis)
- Experience working in highly regulated financial environment
- Ability to analyse complex, multi-source data sets
- Strong understanding of loans, deposits, and balance sheet structures
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain data issues to business + product leaders
- Experience supporting platforms, products, or large financial systems
Plusses:
- Banking experience
- Experience supporting Treasury platforms or Risk Engines
- Background in Liquidity Risk, ALM, Funding, or Balance Sheet Management
- Experience with regulatory reporting environments
- Prior exposure to UAT, testing, or validation work
- Experience partnering with Product Owners or Product Managers
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60-$65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
