Pay Range: $18/hr. - $20/hr.

Job Description:

• Perform File QC’s using various playback programs and nonlinear editing systems
  View media and identify any defects (digital hits, macro blocking, interlacing, etc...), continuity or incomplete content found during testing.
• Listen to media and identify any audio dropouts, pops, distortions, etc...
• Check artwork and metadata to ensure technical correctness/ meets client’s standards
• Communicate any issues to the proper parties and oversee corrections for on-time delivery
• Create and upload thumbnails and other simple artwork
  Follow a fast schedule and be flexible to changes in priorities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of QA/QC experience in a professional setting
• Ability to read JSON files/feeds/searches
• Exposure to ticketing within Kanban/JIRA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise direction
• Creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and a solutions-oriented team player
• Ability to identify probable causes of issues of metadata, artwork, or video imperfections in our pipeline

Preferences:

• Post-production coordination experience or exposure
• Unscripted program workflow experience
• Bilingual in English & Spanish - any additional language is a plus
