Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist supports the Procurement Organization by executing sourcing, contracting, and category management activities at the transactional level. This role partners closely with the Category Team to implement approved category strategies, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and drive process efficiencies. The position emphasizes execution excellence, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement within procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support execution and enforcement of category strategies established by the Category Team
• Guide internal requestors to approved buying channels in alignment with procurement policies
• Provide administrative support for procurement projects, including contract review, redlining, execution, and data analysis
• Review and negotiate agreements such as master service agreements and statements of work within approved financial authority
• Manage procure to pay intake contract requests in accordance with established service level expectations
• Enforce preferred supplier networks and educate stakeholders on category initiatives and priorities
• Assist with process efficiency initiatives to enhance customer experience within procurement operations
• Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Five or more years of procurement and negotiation experience
• Negotiation and Contract Management skills with demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms
• Analytical and Financial Acumen to support cost analysis, budgeting, and savings identification
• Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross functional initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting facilities management or indirect procurement categories
• Exposure to real estate services procurement
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning or procurement systems
• Experience building effective supplier and stakeholder relationships
