Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 1 week onsite per month preferred)
Day to day:
-
Build and customize Experience Cloud sites to support public-facing program access (e.g., SNAP, Medicaid, MNO)

Develop integrations between Experience Cloud and external systems via APIs and middleware
-
Maintain and enhance existing MI.Bridges features and UI/UX
-
Participate in requirement refinement and sprint ceremonies
-
Debug production issues and optimize performance across environments
-
Ensure secure development practices in alignment with Salesforce Gov Cloud compliance
-
Support documentation, testing, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
-
Collaborate with business analysts, policy teams, and internal developers on iterative delivery
Must haves:
-
5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, and Flow
-
Strong Experience Cloud development skills (site setup, navigation, UI components)
-
Experience working within Salesforce Government Cloud environments
-
Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
-
Ability to work onsite in Lansing 1 week per month
-
Experience with iterative agile delivery models
-
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
-
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), even if not core to prior projects

Knowledge of Medicaid, SNAP, or public benefit system workflows

Salesforce Developer or Architect certification(s)

CI/CD experience with tools like Copado or Gearset
-
Exposure to GovTech or human services modernization projects

Familiarity with the original MI.Bridges or similar eligibility/benefit platforms
Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $70 - $75 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
