About this role

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) is responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, PET, and theranostic procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients.
• These procedures are conducted under the general supervision of a Radiologist and are requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury, following established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT) according to exam protocols in a timely manner.

• Evaluate the quality of imaging procedures systematically and adhere to established standards and procedures.

• Ensure accurate transfer of patient images to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) for clinical review and dictation.

• Prepare patients and procedural areas, ensuring proper positioning and use of immobilization devices.
• Protect patients and team members by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control protocols, and techniques.

Certification/Degree Requirements

• ARRT (N)
• CNMT
• BLS (AHA Only)

Salary and Other Compensation:
