Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer with a strong background in Python development and AWS cloud technologies to lead the design and delivery of high-performance systems supporting capital markets and systematic trading platforms. This role will play a critical part in building scalable data and analytics solutions while ensuring production-grade reliability, performance, and quality.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership capability, and a solid understanding of capital markets and trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of systematic trading and analytics platforms.

• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance Python-based backend and data processing systems.

• Drive integration and deployment of applications within AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Ensure reliability, security, performance, and maintainability of production systems.

• Partner closely with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development, including backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines.

• Proven experience designing and supporting scalable, production-grade systems.

• Solid understanding of Capital Markets, including public markets, FX, equities, derivatives, and trading workflows.

• Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced engineering environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with AWS cloud services, including deployment, scaling, and system architecture.

• Exposure to Java, React, or modern DevOps pipelines and CI/CD frameworks.

• Prior experience in systematic, quantitative, or algorithmic trading environments.

• Familiarity with performance tuning, low-latency systems, or high-throughput data platforms.
