About Role:

  • Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered imaging services while adhering to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow, patient safety, and optimal imaging outcomes.

Responsibilites:

  • Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) in accordance with established protocols, utilizing required certifications including ARRT (N), CNMT, and BLS (AHA Only).

  • Conduct and document required equipment quality control (QC) per manufacturer guidelines, RAM license, and ACR standards; coordinate with engineers and physicists as needed.

  • Prepare, position, and educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and compliance with HIPAA and infection-control protocols.

  • Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications; verify correct radioactive drugs and screen patients for pregnancy status.

  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety policies, including radiation handling, patient education, and disposal guidelines.

  • Monitor patients during procedures, recognize changes in condition, and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and emergency teams.

  • Ensure accurate image acquisition, transfer, and documentation within PACS, EMR, and related imaging systems.

  • Support departmental operations by maintaining supplies, ordering radiopharmaceuticals, assisting with training, and participating in on-call coverage as required.

Salary and Other Compensation:
