About Role:

Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Deliver high-quality patient-centered imaging services while adhering to established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow, patient safety, and optimal imaging outcomes.
Responsibilites:

Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) in accordance with established protocols, utilizing required certifications including ARRT (N), CNMT, and BLS (AHA Only).

Conduct and document required equipment quality control (QC) per manufacturer guidelines, RAM license, and ACR standards; coordinate with engineers and physicists as needed.

Prepare, position, and educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and compliance with HIPAA and infection-control protocols.

Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications; verify correct radioactive drugs and screen patients for pregnancy status.

Adhere strictly to radiation safety policies, including radiation handling, patient education, and disposal guidelines.

Monitor patients during procedures, recognize changes in condition, and communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and emergency teams.

Ensure accurate image acquisition, transfer, and documentation within PACS, EMR, and related imaging systems.

Support departmental operations by maintaining supplies, ordering radiopharmaceuticals, assisting with training, and participating in on-call coverage as required.
