4+ years of experience in a production support/application support role

8+ years of large-scale development experience.
- Incident management background
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and Interscope
- Linux/Unix experience
- Ability to run script – SQL or Shell
- Strong Oracle Database knowledge
- AWS knowledge
- .net, C#, SQL server experience

Monitor POS applications, payment gateways, merchant transaction flows, and backend services using enterprise monitoring tools.

Respond to production incidents, triage issues, perform impact analysis, and restore service quickly.

Participate in major incident bridges (P1/P2) and provide real-time updates to leadership and support teams.

Maintain high availability for 24/7 POS systems supporting in-store and mobile transactions

Troubleshoot transaction failures, POS device errors, integration issues, and API failures between POS and backend systems.

Analyze logs, dashboards, and traces to identify root cause and contributing factors.

Work with vendor systems, acquirer networks, and internal services to pinpoint disruptions.

Participate in deployment planning, go-live support, and post-release validation for POS software deployments.

Validate configuration changes, interface updates, firewall rules, certificates, and payment routing changes.

Improve system monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, and alerting thresholds.

Build automation for repetitive tasks, log extraction, data validation, and failover testing.

Develop dashboards for SLA/SLO reporting, transaction trends, and performance metrics.

Work with engineering, DevOps, QA, merchants, and operations teams to keep systems healthy and performant.

Provide production insights to enhance application design and reliability.

Communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
