- Our leading Toronto-based bank is growing its Interactive Services portfolio and has two dynamic Project Manager contract positions open – both reporting to the same manager, offering the same rate and focused on hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- These roles are perfect for proactive professionals who thrive on tracking progress, managing risks, and driving successful outcomes across technology projects in the financial services sector.
Role 1: Project Coordinator / Portfolio Manager:
- Support the full portfolio by coordinating intake, tracking milestones, managing budgets/forecasts/accruals, preparing performance reports (burn-downs, metrics), and interfacing with executives/stakeholders. You'll participate in Agile ceremonies, handle ad-hoc tasks, and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
Role 2: Risk-Focused Project Manager / Program Oversight
- Oversee multiple large-scale key projects to proactively identify "yellow flags" - potential risks, issues, pending decisions, and watch items.
- You'll mitigate risks, capture problems, escalate as needed, report findings, probe with targeted questions, and present insights to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) concepts is a strong plus for structured risk prioritization.

- Contract: 6+ months (high likelihood of extension)
- Rate: $72/hr - $76/Hr
- Team: Interactive Services – technology-driven projects in a collaborative, executive-facing banking environment
Key Skills & Mindset:
- 5–10 years in project coordination, program support, or PM roles (tech and financial services background preferred)
- Strong project tracking, financial management, risk identification/mitigation, stakeholder communication
- JIRA expertise (tracking, reporting, user stories)
- Agile mindset with adaptability to wear multiple hats
- Excellent probing/questioning skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Banking / financial services experience
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivots), PowerPoint
- SAFe or large-scale Agile exposure
- FMEA knowledge (for Role 2)
