Job Detail: 

Title- Network Security Engineer

Pay range- $65- $70/hr  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the primary liaison between Network Operations and Security, translating detections into actionable network controls. 

• Design, deploy, and operate secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN services, segmentation, and application delivery. 

• Administer FTD firewalls using  FMC, including policy management, tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting. 

• Implement micro-segmentation and zero-trust controls using Illumio. 

• Manage DNS security and resiliency using  Umbrella and UltraDNS. 

• Integrate network, DNS, endpoint, and identity telemetry into XDR and Splunk to support detection, investigation, and response. 

• Perform proactive threat hunting using network, DNS, endpoint, and identity data. 

• Administer Secure Endpoint and support endpoint investigations in collaboration with other teams. 

• Support identity-based access controls using  ISE and  Duo. 

• Design and support VPN services (remote access and site-to-site). 

• Manage and secure NetScaler (Citrix ADC) platforms. 

• Participate in incident response, detection tuning, and documentation efforts. 

Must Haves: 

• 5+ years of experience in network security or network engineering. 

• Hands-on experience with FTD, FMC, Umbrella, ISE, Duo, XDR, Secure Endpoint. 

• Experience with Illumio micro-segmentation and UltraDNS. 

• Strong understanding of DNS security, firewalls, VPNs, and network-based threats. 

• Experience with log analysis, threat hunting, and incident response. 

• Background supporting SOC or incident response teams 

Plusses: 

• Security or networking certifications (CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CISSP) are a plus.
