Pay Range: $50 to $55 an hour.

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for designing and developing advanced software solutions for complex medical technology systems used in a large enterprise environment. The position plays a key role in defining software architecture and contributing across the full product development lifecycle. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality and compliant software. The work involves real time systems graphics intensive applications and embedded Linux development. This is a senior level individual contributor role requiring strong technical depth and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and document software applications for diagnostic and interventional medical devices.
• Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle including concept requirements design implementation and testing.
• Develop software architectures algorithms and graphical applications for real time systems.
• Create software and test plans protocols and reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with quality regulatory hardware and test engineering teams to meet safety and reliability requirements.
• Make and justify critical technical decisions based on analysis testing and system performance.
• Support manufacturing transfer product launch and sustaining engineering activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science with significant industry experience or advanced degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience or equivalent research background.
• Strong experience with object oriented design and C plus plus development on Linux platforms.
• Extensive experience with Qt framework OpenGL and advanced graphics techniques.
• Expertise in multithreaded real time application development and computational geometry.
• Experience working in regulated product development environments with strong documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing software for medical or pharmaceutical products.
• GUI development experience using Qt and QML.
• Background in disciplined software engineering practices within a large enterprise environment.
