Job Location: on-site at multiple locations (candidate should be from South King County up to the Bothell area)
Job Duration: 2 years
Hours per week: Flexible. Consultants set their own schedule, with an expected average of around 20 hours per week. Hours may vary based on consultant availability.
Type: onsite, this will be a part-time role
Pay Rate: $110/hr to $113/hr
Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced Journeyman Lineman for a non–hands-on, educator-focused role
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a field-based educator, sharing knowledge and best practices with non-electrical workers
- Teach how to evaluate, prepare, and set up job sites properly
- Provide guidance and oversight rather than performing physical linework
Required Qualifications:
- Must have previously achieved Journeyman Lineman status
- No active lineman card is required
- Ideal candidates are often retired linemen or senior journeymen
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and teaching ability
- Comfort working with non-electrical audiences
- Mentorship/coaching mindset
