About Role:

Hands-on Associate Investigator role supporting molecular biology and microbial strain engineering in an industry R&D lab

Focused on executing established laboratory workflows while learning and applying new technologies under scientific guidance

Emphasizes high-quality experimental execution, documentation, safety, and compliance

Fully on-site, collaborative role working closely with scientists across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:

Perform molecular biology and microbiology experiments, including DNA cloning and microbial strain transformation
-
Apply aseptic and sterile laboratory techniques and handle biological materials safely and consistently
-
Execute accurate liquid handling using manual pipetting across varied volume ranges
-
Maintain complete, timely, and accurate experimental records using electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and data systems
-
Learn, implement, and operationalize new laboratory methods, tools, and workflows following training
-
Monitor experiments, identify issues, and communicate findings or deviations to project stakeholders
-
Maintain organized laboratory spaces and support efficient day-to-day lab operations
-
Adhere strictly to company's safety, quality, and compliance standards while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
