Job Title: Event Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an Event Management Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps to support intelligent IT operations in a large banking environment. This role focuses on event correlation, automation, and AI-driven incident management while working closely with DevOps and SRE teams.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Configure and support Watson AIOps event management and topology
• Build and maintain event ingestion from monitoring tools
• Reduce alert noise using AI-based correlation and suppression
• Design automation and remediation workflows (runbooks)
• Integrate event management with DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Support migration from legacy tools such as Netcool/NOI
• Document event flows and operational procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with Watson AIOps
• Strong background in event management and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting experience with Python or Bash
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, and webhooks
• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, or Cloud)
• Docker & Kubernetes experience

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $65 – $70 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
