- Our client, a leading semiconductor technology company, is looking to hire a Test Technician to support their engineering FAT Operations team in San Diego.
- This is an entry-level to early-career opportunity ideal for candidates with hands-on semiconductor, RF testing, or electronics troubleshooting experience.
- The team is seeking someone who can execute test plans, support specialized equipment setup, and assist in debugging and troubleshooting activities in a structured lab environment.
- This position works under close supervision and is well-suited for someone looking to grow their technical foundation within a fast-paced semiconductor testing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans and provide feedback on test outcomes or issues.
- Assist with setup of specialized test equipment and load/run required programs or builds.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of test equipment per established procedures.
- Conduct basic repairs on test equipment when needed.
- Execute defined test methodologies and document results accurately.
- Debug and troubleshoot routine testing issues; escalate complex problems appropriately.
- Conduct basic analysis to identify root causes of issues.
- Communicate status updates and potential obstacles to team leads.
- Support team priorities and meet project deadlines with supervision.
- Adapt to workflow changes and manage timelines effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in semiconductor, RF testing, electronics testing, or related technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience setting up and working with specialized test equipment.
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting simple processes or technologies.
- Ability to work 100% onsite (Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM PST).
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
