Title: Business Analyst / Product Owner
Duration: Contract 6–12 months initial then conversion)
Location: Hybrid – Toronto(In-office every Thursday &2nd Friday of month)
Pay: $42/hr - $46/hr
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the product end-to-end and manage its performance
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with developers to deliver enhancements
- Perform data analysis and root cause analysis using Excel
- Create and execute test cases
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Perform month-over-month reconciliations and validations
- Identify system and process improvement opportunities
- Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams
Must Haves
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner
- Strong experience writing user stories and test cases
- Experience with UAT and stakeholder communication
- Strong financial background (interest rates, capital markets,
- securitization)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, reconciliations)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile environment
Nice to Haves
- Experience in securitization products
- Dashboard creation
- SQL knowledge
- Power Apps
- AI tools like Copilot
