Pay Range: $35 to $40 an hour (Negotiable base on the experience)

Job Mode: 100% Onsite

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extensions up to 2 years)

Description

This role supports bioanalytical research and development by performing quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis for drug development programs. The Scientist I will generate high-quality bioanalytical data to support ADME, PK, and PD studies involving synthetic molecules and peptides. The position operates in a fast-paced laboratory environment and requires strong attention to detail, documentation, and data integrity. After training, the role functions with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with scientific team members. This position is critical to enabling data-driven decisions in early and translational research.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or related field
  • 0–3 years of hands-on experience with quantitative bioanalysis
  • Practical experience operating LC-MS/MS instrumentation
  • Experience reviewing, processing, and quantitating LC-MS/MS data
  • Strong documentation skills, including use of electronic lab notebooks
  • Experience analyzing synthetic molecules and/or peptides

Day to Day

  • Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis of samples from in-vitro and in-vivo biomatrices
  • Prepare samples and execute bioanalytical assays to support ADME and PK/PD studies
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS instruments
  • Review, process, and interpret analytical data
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of methods, data, and protocols
  • Work independently while meeting timelines in a high-throughput laboratory setting

Plusses

  • Familiarity with automated liquid handling or sample preparation platforms
  • Exposure to ADME, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, or bioassays
  • Experience with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry systems
  • Experience working in regulated or standardized laboratory environments
  • Ability to manage multiple experiments and shifting priorities
