About the Role

We are hiring a Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join our client’s SAP Technology team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting mission-critical SAP financial systems. You’ll help drive system stability, performance optimization, and operational excellence across a complex SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7 availability and stability of SAP systems including ECC, BW, GRC, Portal, SLT, and Solution Manager

• Perform system monitoring, health checks, and proactive performance analysis

• Troubleshoot production issues including batch failures, transport errors, and memory/performance bottlenecks

• Manage SAP transports (TMS) and change governance processes (CHARM)

• Apply SAP patches, kernel updates, and support packs using SUM

• Perform system refreshes, client copies, upgrades, and environment builds

• Support SAP systems running on DB2 (LUW) and SAP HANA databases

• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, functional, and security teams

• Participate in on-call support and disaster recovery exercises

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator in enterprise environments

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and related SAP components

• Solid knowledge of DB2 (LUW) and SAP HANA

• Experience with TMS, CHARM, system upgrades, migrations, and patching

• Experience supporting SAP on AIX and/or Linux platforms

• Strong troubleshooting skills across ABAP and Java stacks

• Experience in 24x7 production support environments

• SAP Basis certification is a plus

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $55 – $60 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
