Job Title: Data Scientist

About the Role

We are hiring an Data Scientist to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative Banking companies in the U.S.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on SQL with Oracle 
• joins, window functions, CTEs, performance-aware queries
• MongoDB experience
• Power BI validation skills
• QA fundamentals (test case design, regression suites, defect lifecycle, traceability).
• Working knowledge of SDLC in agile environments
• Jira for work tracking; CI/CD awareness
• Strong communication
• Experience with large-scale enterprise data; BI semantic modeling (star/snowflake).
• Exposure to Jira, Jenkins, Ansible Tower (or similar).
• Scripting for QA automation (Python/PowerShell); data observability tooling/concepts.
• Data governance familiarity data contracts, SLAs, lineage, stewardship

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $60 - $70/hr
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
