Title: Electrical Distribution Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay range: $45-$50
Day to Day:

Design Review & Approval: Reviewing construction packages from external contracting firms. Providing feedback, identifying mistakes, and ensuring designs meet company standards before they move to the Director for final "stamping."

Internal Design: Handling special projects that have not yet been identified.

Project Management: Managing approximately 2 large projects concurrently

Liaison Work: Serving as the POC for design firms and ensuring a smooth handoff to construction.
Must-haves:

Utility Experience: 1–2 years minimum in the industry to mitigate the learning curve.

OH/UG Knowledge: Experience in both overhead and underground utility design.

Software: DDS (Distribution Design Studio)

CAD Tools: Proficiency in MicroStation (preferred) or AutoCAD.
