Location: Atlanta, GA 30328 - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months (Extension and conversion will be based on the performance)
Pay Range: ($60-$65) hourly.
 

About the Role

  • Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional IT initiatives that support manufacturing operations, enterprise systems, and custom application development from a manufacturing, packaging, industrial background.
  • You will oversee end-to-end project delivery spanning plant operations, supply chain, finance, and corporate IT, ensuring system integrations and operational reliability.
  • This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in manufacturing environments, ERP solutions, and process improvement initiatives.

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of IT project/program management experience, including manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience leading custom software development and systems integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and project financial management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects, including custom software development, ERP/MES/WMS integrations, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Partner with plant leadership and manufacturing teams to align IT solutions with production workflows, safety, compliance, and uptime requirements.
  • Coordinate multi-site deployments, including cutovers, testing, training, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Oversee internal development teams, external vendors, and system integrators for scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for stakeholders, IT partners, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply and enforce project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and adhere to PMO standards and change control processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery practices and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems such as ERP, MES, WMS, or plant automation integrations.
  • Familiarity with IT service management and delivery platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Service, NowDevOps, Smartsheet).
  • Experience managing multi-site or global manufacturing deployments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting to IT and executive stakeholders.
