Job Title: User Acceptance Tester (UAT)

Location: Plano, TX

Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced User Acceptance Tester (UAT) to support business validation activities for banking applications. This role will work closely with frontline operational teams to ensure systems meet business requirements before production release. The ideal candidate will have strong UAT experience, solid banking domain knowledge, and the ability to work onsite with business users to validate real-world financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and document User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts
• Execute test cases using the Octane application and report results
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and frontline units during testing
• Create and manage JIRA stories and defects
• Validate cash flow processes, including ATM and financial center transactions
• Verify general ledger settlements and financial transaction flows
• Participate in virtual meetings, working sessions, and conference calls
• Work independently and as part of small, cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience creating and executing test scripts
• Working knowledge of Octane for test execution and reporting
• Experience using JIRA for story creation and defect tracking
• Strong banking domain knowledge, especially:
• ATM operations
• Cash flow processes
• General ledger (GL) settlements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite as needed (up to 5 days/week)

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $50 – $52 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
