About Role:

• Laboratory Technician supports daily operations of a Microbial Repository laboratory by executing routine and non-routine technical tasks under scientist supervision.

• Ensure accurate sample handling, storage, retrieval, and distribution while maintaining strict aseptic and organizational standards.

• Contribute to cross-functional laboratory activities during fluctuating workloads to maintain operational continuity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual liquid transfers and operate automated liquid handling systems for sample processing.

• Store, retrieve, and manage biological samples from freezers, shakers, and other controlled storage units.

• Pick and prepare samples for internal or external customer delivery with high accuracy.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and operational protocols.

• Order, track, and restock laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow.

• Apply proper aseptic techniques during microbiological and biotechnology-related procedures.

• Collaborate closely with laboratory technicians and scientists to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Provide operational support to other laboratories as needed based on workload requirements.
