Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: Standard Time ( 8 AM to 5 PM CST)

Day To Day Responsbilities:

  • Monitor POS applications, payment gateways, merchant transaction flows, and backend services using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Respond to production incidents, triage issues, perform impact analysis, and restore service quickly.
  • Participate in major incident bridges (P1/P2) and provide real time updates to leadership and support teams.
  • Maintain high availability for 24/7 POS systems supporting in store and mobile transactions
  • Troubleshoot transaction failures, POS device errors, integration issues, and API failures between POS and backend systems.
  • Analyze logs, dashboards, and traces to identify root cause and contributing factors.
  • Work with vendor systems, acquirer networks, and internal services to pinpoint disruptions.
  • Participate in deployment planning, go live support, and post release validation for POS software deployments.

Must Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in a production support/application support role
  • 8+ years of large-scale development experience.
  • Hands on application support experience
  • Monitoring tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace and Interscope
  • Linux/Unix experience
  • Ability to run script
  • – SQL or Shell AWS knowledge .net, C#, SQL server experience AI; Copilot background

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
    This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
