About the Role** We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in embedded and software development. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team to meet project objectives and deadlines. **Responsibilities** - Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. - Analyze user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency. - Design and implement software modules for products and systems. - Participate in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules. - Perform code reviews and regression tests, triage and fix issues to ensure the quality of code. - Collaborate with team members to accomplish project objectives. - Write technical documentation for software projects. **Education Qualification** - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience OR - Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. **Required Skills** - 3+ years of experience in embedded/software development (C/C++) - Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose, and solve difficult engineering problems - Experience with source control (GIT), OS concepts, and debugging tools - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Effective verbal and written communication skills, including basic negotiation and influence skills.
