Job Title: Database Developer

Location: Jersey city, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Financial Services
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: Standard Time( 8 AM to 5 PM EST)

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL code, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and packages.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with end clients and business partners to gather requirements, clarify functionality, and present solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve database-related issues for performance and reliability.
• Ensure best practices in database design, coding standards, and optimization techniques.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.

• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, indexes, and packages.
• Proficient in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to interact effectively with end clients and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience in the banking/financial services domain.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning tools.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
  This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
