We are hiring a Mainframe Engineer to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative  Banking and Financial companies in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Core Competencies

• Mainframe Development: Expert-level COBOL (Online & Batch), JCL, and VSAM.
• Database Management: Advanced DB2 (Query optimization, table management, and data integrity).
• Transaction & Middleware: CICS (Transaction processing) and MQ (Message queuing across CICS/Cobol and Batch environments).
• Systems Architecture: Design and implementation of large-scale distribution engines and reference data platforms.

• Financial Services: Deep understanding of Global Markets, Wealth Management, and post-trade application lifecycles.
• Reference Data Management: Expertise in Product Master data, pricing reference data, and SMDB (Security Master Database) structures.
• SDLC Ownership: Full-cycle experience encompassing requirements analysis, complex programming, and production implementation.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $65 – $68 per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
