pay rate: $60-65/hr
The Construction Project Manager will work closely with members of the Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Controls and Procurement departments from install through start of production. This role will supervise all on-site construction including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day-to-day construction issues, performing day to day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule and budget for accelerated projects.
Day to Day:
Own the full design and engineering effort for construction and infrastructure development from concept to production to meet Collabera's Clients aggressive goals
· Dive deep to fundamentally understand and scrutinize technical stakeholders requirements and translate them into project scope with clear execution plan and responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction
· Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross-functional teams to ensure overall program alignment
· Synthesize and own report-outs, highlighting status, risks, mitigations and opportunities across all levels of management
· Track and understand all project costs at a fundamental level, challenging design revision, RFIs and change orders to ensure Tesla receives the best value
Must have:
2-4 Years of experience on industrial construction projects
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or construction management or related field MS preferred
· Experience designing, building, and starting up control systems for large industrial construction projects in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors or equivalent high tech facilities.
· Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information.
· Flexibility and ability to -handle and manage change effectively and efficiently
· Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines
