Location: Wilmington, CA 90748

Schedule: Onsite, M-F | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $18.00/hr to $20.00/hr

Duration: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

  • Our cliet is expanding regional operations, and we need two dedicated Facilities Support Specialists to lead a total transformation of our Wilmington site.
  • This isn't just a maintenance role; it’s a "clean slate" project. You will be responsible for taking a neglected storage yard and shipping-container workspace and turning it into a highly organized, efficient, and safety-compliant hub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Modernization: Physically sort and categorize materials stored in "Depo Yard" containers. You will build the foundation for our operations by transitioning loose stock into a structured MS Excel tracking system.

  • Facility Revitalization: Improve site safety and aesthetics by repainting faded safety barriers, railings, and markings to ensure high visibility and compliance.

  • Workspace Optimization: Execute general labor tasks to clear debris, organize tool layouts, and maintain a professional appearance across the facility.

  • Labeling & Logic: Create and apply clear labeling systems for all stock items, ensuring "mission-critical" equipment can be located instantly.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Organizational Instinct: You have a natural ability to look at a disorganized space and create a logical system from scratch without a manual.

  • Digital Literacy: Proficient in MS Excel for data entry and basic spreadsheet management.

  • Physical Resilience: You are comfortable working in an outdoor yard environment. This role involves physical labor (painting, lifting, and sorting) in a "converted container" office setting that can get warm during summer months.

  • Self-Starter Mentality: You possess a "no task is too small" attitude and can work independently to see a long-term project through to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus (English fluency is required).

  • Experience: A background in inventory management or warehouse organization is a strong advantage.

Why Join Us?
