Pay Range: $42 to $47 an hour.

Description:
We are seeking a Scientist to support advanced antibody discovery initiatives focused on single B cell sequencing technologies. This role involves working with microfluidics and next generation sequencing to generate high quality antibody data. The position plays a critical role in experimental design, execution, and data analysis to support biotherapeutic development. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams and contribute to innovative research programs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced scientific environment with cutting edge technologies.
 
Must Haves:
  • Masters degree in biology immunology cell biology molecular biology or related discipline with 2 plus years of relevant experience
  • Hands on experience with droplet microfluidics and single B cell sequencing
  • Strong expertise in next generation sequencing workflows and platforms such as MiSeq
  • Experience with RNA isolation DNA purification reverse transcription and PCR techniques
  • Proficiency in antibody bioinformatics tools such as FLASH IgBlast Usearch and IMGT
 
Day to Day:
  • Design and execute experiments to amplify antibody genes from single B cells using microfluidics techniques
  • Perform RNA and DNA extraction purification and library preparation for sequencing
  • Analyze sequencing data and generate insights using bioinformatics tools
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to present findings and support research objectives
  • Maintain detailed experimental records and documentation
  • Manage multiple projects and adjust experimental plans based on project needs
Plusses:
  • Experience with ELISA or FACS for protein and cell detection
  • Exposure to antibody discovery or biotherapeutic development workflows
