Overview : An Endur developer needs a blend of technical and domain-specific skills to effectively work with the OpenLink Endur platform, a comprehensive energy trading and risk management (ETRM) solution. Here are the essential skills an Endur developer should possess:
Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java, particularly in the context of Endur's AVS/JVS scripting and OpenComponents framework.

A deep understanding of relational databases, including SQL query writing, optimization, and data modeling.

In-depth knowledge of the Endur platform, its modules (Trading, Risk, Operations, Accounting, etc.), and its configuration options.

A solid grasp of energy trading and risk management concepts, including commodities, derivatives, pricing, hedging, and risk management techniques.

Experience with integrating Endur with other systems, such as front-office trading platforms, back-office systems, and data warehouses.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the Endur system.

Proficiency in using version control systems like Git to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.

Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Soft Skills:

5 years in hands on Endur Development is the minimum expectation

Preferably have developed Endur in a commodities implementation (natural gas, crude, coal, metal, etc.)

Must have scripting exp in AVS (older) & JVS (newer) - Will be working in both, eventually going to an only JVS environment.
