Job Title: Powder Coating Cell Lead
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 11 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Pay Rate: $31 – $35/hour

Shift: 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and manage powder coating operations, including SOPs and process parameters
• Lead daily production, train operators, and ensure safety & quality standards
• Perform quality checks (coating thickness, adhesion, finish) and resolve issues
• Troubleshoot processes and drive continuous improvement
• Manage equipment (spray booths, ovens) and preventive maintenance
• Use MES for tracking, reporting, and process optimization

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of powder coating experience
• 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role
• Experience with QMS and MES systems
• Strong knowledge of coating processes, inspection methods, and technical drawings
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred:
• Experience in ISO 9001 environments
• Background in CNC or sheet metal manufacturing
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
