Role: IT Support 

Client: Leading Chemical Manufacturing Company
Location:  Woodlands, TX 77380 - Onsite
Duration: 12 months (Extension or conversion based on performance)
Pay Range : ($25-$27) hourly
 
Overview:
  • Provide on-site IT support for office and production environments, handling service requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting business systems.
  • Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS 365, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) preferred
  • Familiarity with device management tools (Intune, SCCM) is a plus
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level IT support (onsite & remote) for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage and update service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
  • Support onboarding/offboarding (device setup, account provisioning)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with audits and hardware refresh
  • Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects
  • Guide users on MS 365 tools and IT processes
  • Coordinate with vendors and escalate issues when required.
