Job Title: GenAI Portfolio Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Duration: 12 - 18 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST] 

About the Role

• Manage the end-to-end GenAI portfolio across concurrent initiatives 
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery and release plans 
• Coordinate cross-initiative dependencies, milestones, and critical paths 
• Identify risks, issues, and delivery bottlenecks early and drive mitigation plans 
• Facilitate portfolio governance forums and leadership reviews 
• Track delivery commitments and hold owners accountable 
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and Risk teams on sequencing and prioritization 
• Support Release Train / scaled delivery models (SAFe) 
• Build and maintain portfolio roadmap and integrated release plans 
• Create dependency maps and maintain risk registers 
• Develop portfolio dashboards (status, milestones, risks, dependencies) 
• Deliver executive summaries and decision-making materials 
• Develop remediation and recovery plans for at-risk initiatives 

• Enterprise program and portfolio management experience 
• Strong experience with Scaled Agile / SAFe / Release Train environments 
• Strong dependency and risk management experience 
• Experience with delivery governance and reporting tools (Jira, Planview, MS Project, etc.) 
• Experience with financial and capacity tracking (preferred) 
• Strong execution and delivery discipline 
• Proactive risk identification and problem solving 
• Ability to influence without direct authority 
• Structured communication with senior leadership 
• Ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments 
• Experience running Big Room / PI Planning 
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously 
• 8–10+ years portfolio/program management 
• 10+ years FinTech 
• 1.5+ years GenAI 

• Experience with Planview, Jira, MS Project 
• Financial or capacity tracking experience 
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise portfolios 

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $65 – $68 per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
