Job Title: React Developer

Location: Westbrook, ME

Duration: 18 months

Pay Range: $58/hr - $65/hr

About the Role:

• We are seeking a React Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team.
• This role involves working on cloud-hosted, high-traffic web applications using the latest technologies.
• You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the veterinary industry by developing software that aids veterinarians, pets, and pet owners.

 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test feature initiatives based on technical requirements provided by analysts and product teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
• Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
• Coordinate with product team members to define application requirements.
• Identify business needs, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions.
• May design system architectures.

 Required Skillset:

• 3+ years of experience with React, Typescript, and Node.js.
• Experience in backend for frontend design patterns.
• Operating within a scrum framework.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted providers, specifically AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent team player and business relationship skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.

 Nice to Have Skillsets:

• Experience with AWS, Datadog and Flutter.
• Intrinsic motivation, self-awareness, collaboration, and humility.
