Job Title: Project Accountant
Client: Leading Global Consumer Goods Company
Work location: Irving, Texas 75038 (Dallas Metropolitan Area)
Duration: 06 months from start date
Schedule: Training will be onsite - In office Tuesday & Wednesday (doesn’t need to be FT), but at least 2 day a week, and for sure during training it’s FT in the office
Pay Range: ($40-45) hourly
Role Overview:
- Project Accountant supporting the Aurora project, responsible for budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track budget vs actuals, including time, PO costs, and capitalization
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to project managers
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost estimates
- Partner with project managers & global stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (especially tech/project accounting)
Must-Have Requirements:
- 3–5+ years in project accounting/finance
- Strong experience in:
- Forecasting & budgeting
- Reconciliation & variance analysis
- SAP (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Nice-to-Have:
- Apptio One / Targetprocess
- Experience with global teams
