Title - Product Manager
Pay Range:$80/hr-$84/hr
- Day-to-day:
- Own the product roadmap for internal tooling that supports partner feed management and device distribution across platforms .
Drive end-to-end development of tooling and platform solutions—from ideation through launch and continuous improvement—to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, and partner management to align priorities, define requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.
Monitor performance and success metrics, including tool adoption, workflow efficiency, and error reduction, to guide ongoing product optimization.
Communicate and advocate for the product vision, ensuring stakeholder alignment through clear documentation, updates, and leadership engagement - Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage content feeds (live and VOD) to devices and partners and regional providers.
Define the operational process for launching those feeds so they can be reused and scaled.
Work closely with engineers (NY-based) to design and build the right technical solutions for each partner.
Figure out how users discover and engage with content outside the app, such as on device home screens or partner platforms.
Unlock new partner opportunities that were previously blocked due to limited engineering resources or smaller-scale business deals.
Support major initiatives like “one app” strategy by figuring out:
How feeds are managed
How content is promoted across different devices
Own the business-as-usual (BAU) operations:
How feeds are set up
What tooling is needed
How processes are standardized and automated
Define success metrics and run A/B tests to measure whether these integrations actually drive engagement.
Design experiments with partners to test new ways of promoting or distributing content.
Do early-stage product discovery:
Write requirements
Explore new ideas
Explain why something will drive engagement and why should invest in it - This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has worked on integrations, feeds, or platform partnerships
Is comfortable owning ambiguous, unscoped work
Can translate business goals into clear product requirements
Knows how to partner with engineering, ops, and external partners
Thinks in terms of engagement, experimentation, and measurable impact - Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management (P2 or P3 level)
Strong technical foundation with deep understanding of UX principles
Someone who can think through how to wireframe a product for a user journey
Mapped out user journey for particular workflow, product, or task
How would they develop that into a tool
Experience in the partner feeds and device distribution space
Proven ability to build and scale internal tooling products from inception to launch
Demonstrated project management skills within agile development environments
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate both asynchronously and on the fly - Plusses:
- Experience within streaming, media, or digital content ecosystems
Previously worked for OTT services
Firmware companies where they have a set-top box
