Day-to-day responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will operate as a member of the Corporate Mechanical Engineering department drafting team.
• Responsibilities include creating and updating solid models of electro-mechanical components, creating and modifying part and assembly drawings, releasing documents to Configuration Management system, and incorporating Engineering Change Orders.
• The drafter will interface with internal staff in the fast-paced execution of a variety of multi-disciplined projects.

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanical drafter or equivalent educational training in mechanical drafting.
• Create 3-D CAD models of off-the-shelf electro-mechanical components.
• Create 2-D engineering drawings for electro-mechanical parts and assemblies, labels, cables, and circuit board assemblies.
• Create and modify circuit card mechanical constraints drawings, including SMT fabrication panel details.
